Indicative calculation of liquid coagulant dose (aluminium and iron coagulants) from raw water COD, flow and metal dose in mg Me/mg COD.

Raw water coagulation

This calculator converts a target metal dose in mg Me/mg COD into a practical liquid coagulant dose in ml/h and ml/m³. It uses raw water COD, flow and the parameters of the selected coagulant (aluminium or iron). Results are indicative only and the final dose must always be based on jar tests.
